Why Organic?

As organic cotton becomes more and more popular, Inspire' is continuing its search for the perfect manufacturer match. We use organic cotton because of one of the lesser known characteristics of organic, which is that typically organic is also Fair Trade Certified - meaning good working conditions and fair wages for the people who pour their heart into making our shirts. We've been meeting with companies all the way from Santa Ana, Ca (near our home base) to Istanbul, Turkey. We're even currently waiting to hear from a Women's Co-Op in Nicaragua (Cooperativa de Mujeres Neuva Vida), who built their own company from scratch to make a better life for their community. Why go to all the trouble to find the right company, who's organic certified and meets Fair Trade Specifications? Because we want to know the people who are involved in our process, all the way from the plant to the store and everywhere in between. It's part of that family thing.

We'll be keeping everyone posted regularly. Check out the links below to find out more about organic, fair trade, and some of the companies we are looking into. Feel free to leave us your thoughts and join us on this amazing journey!

Part of our travels...

A bien tot, nous copains! (Until next time, our friends!)
